El Fin Del Mundo was originally
built in 1989 by its owner, Scott Jalowsky. This unique villa was
constructed of the finest native materials of Mexico. Brick,
wrought-iron and selected hardwoods crafted in form and function by
Mexican craftsman produced a truly unique and one-of-a-kind boutique
villa. In 2007, El Fin del Mundo was completely renovated using
old-world craftsmen. The result is simply stunning.
As a small boy, Scott first visited Puerto Penasco in 1969.
He fell in love with the beautiful beaches, warm sunny
weather and gracious people. |
He enjoyed many wonderful trips back to Rocky Point over the
years and eventually bought land on Las Conchas beach in 1980 with
the idea of forming a rental company and renting his own villa. In
the 1989, Scott built El Fin del Mundo on one section of his land
closest to the water. El Fin Del Mundo offers a unique experience
for its guests.
How the name El Fin del Mundo came to be.

El Fin del Mundo was
originally meant to be El Fin Del Sendero which translates exactly
as the "End of the Trail." The name was decided with the help
of friends over many Margarita's and excellent Mexican cuisine at
Manny's Beach Club in Puerto Penasco. Manny himself assisted.

After Scott mentioned his
choice of name to his brother, his brother decided to
commission a large sign for the
main entrance as a surprise gift. Made from ceramic tile and
hand-painted in Mexico, the sign was delivered to Scott at
his Paradise Valley home in Arizona. |

When it arrived, Scott was of
course surprised and even more surprised to see the name El
Fin del Mundo which translates directly to "The End of the
World." Scott's attention to detail left him in a
quandary. What to do about this! |

Seeking the advice of his mom
and dad and true to family bond's Scott decided to stay with
the name his brother so lovingly commissioned. |

one of life's journeys and certainly one that you will

Scott is passionate about
his Villa and Las Conchas and it shows
in every detail. His first-hand knowledge of the area is very
helpful to his guests in planning that perfect vacation in Puerto
Penasco. He has traveled Mexico extensively.
After completing degrees in Business Administration, Scott developed
a successful Realty Company along with his boutique villa rental and
property management company. His guests enjoy a full compliment of
